PolySwitch -PTC resistance devices for circuit protection

The Tyco Electronics PolySwitch circuit protector is a new class of electrical resistor that undergoes a large, abrupt increase in resistance when heated above a specific temperature. Normally a few Ohms, the PolySwitch protectors resistance increases to thousands of Ohms when switched.
